After much contemplation about what life entails, and comes after it, I found my mind lost in the clouds. I had come across the Latin phrase Memento Mori ("Remember your mortality"), and was compelled to delve deeper into what my "afterlife" will entail. To my surprise, all I found were dark representations of what mortality has meant for centuries. Now, I love the way darkness lends itself vividly to the imagination just as much as the next person; but I felt a pull in imagery to render a lighter side to my afterlife. Memento Mori to me, is the unbounded realm of peace I dream of.
