The Cycles of a Fertile Mind 5 ft x 2.5 ft, acrylic on canvas 2021. Private collection. Preparatory work began in 2019. The years 2019-2021, were eventful globally, and personally, to say the least. The dynamic of those years left me to reflect upon my life, being a new father, our modern society and our connections to this reality. My daughter’s first ultrasound image is embedded into the yolk of the egg. The composition consists of an infinity symbol in the center of the frame. I’ve also included Our solar map from NASA’s Voyager Satellite’s “Golden Record”. There are other hidden details and references as well for the viewer to find.
